That the Parliament congratulates Angus Dundee Distillers as it announces its first supermarket deal, which will see its award-winning whisky sold across the country; understands that the drinks company’s single malt whisky, Glencadam American Oak Reserve, and Tomintoul Pedro Ximénez Sherry Cask Finish, will be available to purchase at more than 60 Tesco Extra and Tesco Superstore locations across the country; understands that the Glencadam American Oak Reserve is matured exclusively in hand-selected premium quality American oak ex-bourbon barrels sourced from Kentucky in the United States, and is a premium smooth finished single malt with a sweet, tropical and orchard fruit style, and that the Tomintoul Pedro Ximénez Sherry Cask Finish is a small batch single malt bottled in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, before marrying and finishing in hand selected Pedro Ximénez sherry butts sourced from Andalucía, Spain; recognises that 2025 will see Glencadam Distillery in Brechin celebrate its 200th anniversary, making it one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries, with Tomintoul Distillery marking its 60th year, and wishes Angus Dundee Distillers continued success as it launches Glencadam and Tomintoul single malts in Tesco.
